Measles is a very contagious viral infection. Measles can be protected by vaccination.

SYMPTOMS: - High fever (39-40°C) - Cough, runny nose, eye redness - Koplik spots in the mouth - Red rash on the body (starts behind the ear)

INFECTION: - Highly contagious through air - Contagious 4 days before and 4 days after rash - Spreads easily in closed environments

COMPLICATIONS: - Pneumonia - Brain inflammation - Diarrhea and thirst - Loss of vision - Death (risk 1-3%)

PROTECTION: ✅ Measles vaccine (MMR) - 12th month: 1st dose - 48th month: 2nd dose

VACCINE SAFETY: - 50+ years of safety record - Side effects are very rare - Autism claim is SCIENTIFICALLY INCORRECT

DURING THE EPIDEMIC PERIOD: - Unvaccinated children should not go to school - Crowded environments should be avoided
